The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is a high-quality elastic fabric, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture, making it perfect for tight-fitting garments such as lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and leotards.
The printed design of this fabric features main colors such as cotton white, butterfly blue, and denim blue. These colors combine harmoniously and elegantly, creating an attractive and striking design. In addition, this design can be combined with other plain colors such as black, pale pink, and turquoise, creating different style and personality options.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. This means that the design is present on only one side of the fabric, which gives it a unique and special finish.
Regarding the general characteristics, both of the fabric and the printed design, it is important to mention that the fabric has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it ideal for use in water activities and outdoors.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used in fashion garments such as swimwear. Its high elasticity and resistance make it perfect for garments that require a perfect fit to the body, providing comfort and freedom of movement.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleach. Dry cleaning can also be done, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is suggested to use a cold temperature and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink through heat and pressure to achieve a durable and high-quality result. This printing process ensures that the colors remain vivid and bright over time, without losing intensity or suffering wear.
