The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is a high-quality elastic fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is perfect for sportswear, lingerie, and fashion garments for women, men, and children. Its softness and elasticity make it a comfortable and easy-to-use fabric.
The printed design of this fabric is pictorial and artistic in style, with drawn elements and abstract shapes, mainly highlighting circles and dots. The main colors of the design are Night Black, Hosta Blue, and Dark Carnation Pink. These colors are combined harmoniously and colorfully, giving the design a vibrant and modern look.
In addition to these main colors, the fabric could easily combine with other solid colors that harmonize with the designs color palette, such as white, light gray, and mint green. These neutral colors would allow the printed design to be the protagonist of the garment.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric. This allows the design to be sharper and more defined.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture that makes it pleasant to the touch. In addition, it is finished with chlorine-resistant protection and has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it suitable for sportswear and swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned above, it could be used for making tops, bras, bikinis, and swimsuits. Its elasticity and resistance make it suitable for knitwear, and its softness makes it perfect for underwear such as bodysuits and bralettes. It can also be used for making accessories such as scrunchies.
For care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design from a digital printer to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique guarantees design durability and high print quality, making the fabric resistant to washing and wear.
