Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed-Chanel fabric is a tweed-type fabric made of 100% polyester. With a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for making garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, and even bow ties. It can also be used in textile environments such as cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, or even for outdoor decoration.
Its printed design, called Gaudí, features a multicolored combination that gives it a cheerful and modern look. The main colors are inspired by the work of Antonio Gaudí, a Catalan architect known for his colorful and lively creations. These colors are complemented by other plain tones that would create a good contrast, such as white, black, navy blue, beige, or light pink.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing technology. This means that the back of the fabric is plain and has no print.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, its texture and feel are stiff, making it ideal for structured garments with volume. In addition, its polyester composition gives it greater resistance and durability, ideal for frequently used garments.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is common to find it in the making of suit jackets, trousers, and vests for men and women. It can also be used to create accessories such as caps, due to its rigidity.
Regarding the care that should be taken, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions. We recommend not bleaching the fabric, washing at a maximum temperature of 30°C, and ironing at a cold temperature. In addition, it can be dry cleaned, but the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, Tweed-Chanel fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation technology, which allows for high-quality printing and durability in the printed design. This technique consists of transferring inks through a heat and pressure process, which ensures that the design adheres correctly to the fabric.
