Recycled Lycra fabric is a type of Lycra fabric, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This recycled fabric has GRS certification and is considered sustainable.
The printed design of this fabric features a Mondrian style, with main multicolor colors. The design is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not printed on both sides of the fabric.
Recycled Lycra fabric has several characteristics. Its texture has a soft and elastic feel, which makes it comfortable in contact with the skin. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection (UPF 50+).
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it can be used to make different products such as scrunchies, bikinis, swimsuits and other swimwear items. It is also suitable for manufacturing sportswear.
It is important to take into account certain care instructions to maintain the quality of this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron it at low temperature and avoid tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process guarantees the durability of the print and allows obtaining vibrant and high-definition colors.
