Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric with a 100% polyester composition. With a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, this fabric has a rough and rigid texture, which gives it a distinctive feel. In addition, its opaque finish highlights the vibrant colors of its printed design.
The printed design of this fabric is inspired by Van Goghs work, featuring unique and varied artistic styles. With a multicolor combination, a striking and eye-catching visual effect is achieved. Thanks to this combination of colors, the fabric can combine very well with plain colors in neutral tones such as white, black or beige, as well as with intense colors that complement or contrast with the tones present in the design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that we will only find the design on one side of the fabric and the other will remain in a plain color. This allows us to use it in a versatile way in decoration projects, such as cushions, paintings, frames, baskets, placemats, among others.
Regarding its general characteristics, this recycled fabric has GRS certification, which guarantees its sustainable origin and its contribution to environmental care. In addition, its use of recycled PET helps reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment.
As for fabric care, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to use bleach. It can also be dry cleaned with solvents and it is advisable to iron it at a cool temperature. If you want to tumble dry, it should be done at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which allows high definition of designs and prolonged durability. This technique consists of transferring dyes to polyester by heat, achieving a perfect fusion between the design and the fabric.
