The Outdoor Waterproof Fabric is a technical textile made of 100% polyester with a weight of 200 gr/m2. It has a width of 150 cm and is waterproof, making it ideal for fashion applications such as trench coats or raincoats for men, women, and children. It is also used in decoration, such as outdoor cushions or awnings, as well as tablecloths for dining rooms in the textile/home sector.
The printed design of this fabric is called Monet, and it is printed in various colors that create a multicolor effect. The style of the design is inspired by the work of the famous impressionist painter Claude Monet, highlighting the beauty of nature with loose and vibrant brushstrokes. The main colors are those of the Monet design, but this fabric can also be combined with solid colors that highlight the tones present in the print.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that it is only printed on one side of the fabric and not on both.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a waterproof finish that makes it water-resistant. In addition, it has a granular and rough texture both to the touch and visually, which gives it a more robust and resistant appearance.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can be used in fashion garments for both men and women, including raincoats. It is also suitable for use in outdoor decorative projects thanks to its impermeability, such as outdoor cushions and awnings. In the textile/home sector, it is ideal for making durable and easy-to-clean dining tablecloths.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to avoid dry cleaning. In addition, it should be ironed at low temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is applied specifically to polyester. This process consists of transferring the ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, which allows the colors to adhere durably and with high quality to the surface of the fabric. This technology ensures that the printed design maintains its color and detail over time.
