The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for various applications such as lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. Its soft and elastic texture makes it comfortable to wear, while its chlorine-resistant finish makes it durable and suitable for use in water activities. In addition, it has a very high UV protection finish, with a UV protection factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric is called Malevich, and it features a multicolor style. It combines different shades and geometric shapes to create a striking and modern visual effect. This design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or pink, as it highlights the colors present in the print.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the design only appears on one side of the fabric, while the other side is smooth and uniformly colored.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cold temperature should be used, and it is not recommended to tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester. This digital printing process allows colors to be transferred directly to the fabric, creating a durable and high-quality print. The dye turns into gas by heat and adheres to the polyester fibers, creating a vibrant and wash-resistant result.
In summary, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi with the Malevich printed design is a versatile and attractive option for making lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear. Its elastic composition, chlorine-resistant finish, and UV protection make this fabric an ideal choice for water activities. The sublimation printing technology guarantees a durable and high-quality print.
