Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft, elastic fabric with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric has technical characteristics such as chlorine resistance and very high UV protection (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear or sportswear.
The printed design of this fabric features an artistic and colorful style. Inspired by Monets oil painting technique, it is characterized by its complexity and brilliance. The main colors of the design are multicolored, which makes it versatile and easy to combine with other plain fabrics in solid tones, such as navy blue, black, white, or green.
It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed on one side only, meaning the design is only on the front of the fabric and not on the back.
Recycled Lycra fabric stands out for its softness to the touch and elasticity, which makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, its chlorine-resistant finish makes it suitable for swimwear that will be exposed to pools and chlorinated water. Its GRS certification and sustainability as a recycled fabric reinforce its commitment to the environment.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to bikinis and sports swimsuits, it is also suitable for making hair ties and scrunchies. Its resistance and UV protection make it an excellent choice for outdoor garments, especially in summer seasons.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning or tumble drying. For best results and to preserve the printed design, it is advisable to iron it at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation. Through this process, the design is printed on the polyester of the fabric, which guarantees high print quality and design durability.
In summary, Recycled Lycra fabric features a complex and colorful printed design, inspired by Monets technique. With technical characteristics such as chlorine resistance and UV protection, it is ideal for swimwear and sportswear. Its softness to the touch and elasticity make it comfortable to wear, and it can be combined with other plain fabrics in solid tones. This fabric is digitally printed on one side and it is recommended to follow the specified care instructions to maintain its quality. Through sublimation printing technology, high quality and durability of the printed design are ensured.
