The fabric we are presenting is Lycra Polyester - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, a Lycra fabric composed mainly of polyester (82%) and elastane (18%). With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by its elastic texture and soft touch. Its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection factor (50+) make it ideal for use in lingerie, sports bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights/leggings, and swimwear in general.
The printed design presented on this fabric is a combination of different attributes and styles. It is a work of art inspired by the artistic movement of Malevich and other abstract and artistic styles. Its abstract and geometric shapes, as well as its vivid and striking colors, give it a colorful and futuristic look. The main design is complemented by the representation of an axe, which adds a touch of originality and symbolism.
Regarding the color combination, the main design is multicolor. This allows it to be combined with a wide range of solid colors, such as black, white, red, blue, and yellow. These solid colors would serve as a neutral base that would highlight the vivid and varied tones of the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is present on one side of the fabric, while the other side is plain. This feature provides versatility when making garments, as you can choose to use the printed side or the plain side depending on the design and aesthetic preferences.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its elastic texture makes it comfortable to wear and allows it to adapt to different bodies and movements. In addition, its chlorine-resistant finish makes it suitable for use in swimwear, as it maintains its appearance and resistance to contact with chemicals present in pool water. On the other hand, its very high UV protection factor (50+) provides excellent protection against solar rays.
As for care, it is important to take into account the manufacturers recommendations. It is suggested to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches. Likewise, dry cleaning can be done, as long as trichloroethylene is not used. For ironing, it is recommended to use a low temperature and avoid using a dryer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester. Sublimation printing consists of transferring the design permanently to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure. This guarantees high print quality, durability, and wash resistance.
In summary, the Lycra Polyester - Nairobi 270 gr/m2 fabric is a versatile and resistant option for making lingerie, sportswear, and swimsuits. Its printed design combines abstract, geometric, and artistic styles, with vivid colors and an original touch represented by an axe. The printing is done using sublimation technology, and the fabric has characteristics of elasticity, chlorine resistance, and UV protection.
