The fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm and is an elastic fabric, with a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. Its texture is soft and elastic to the touch.
The printed design has an artistic theme, inspired by Kandinskys style and abstract art. It is colorful and composed of abstract shapes, mosaics, and decorative elements. The main colors are multicolored, which makes it versatile to combine with other plain colors, such as white, black, blue, among others, depending on the preference and desired style.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the print is on only one side of the fabric, allowing for greater durability and wear resistance.
Regarding the general characteristics of both the fabric and the printed design, the polyester lycra provides great elasticity and adapts perfectly to the body. The printed design adds an artistic and original touch, making it a perfect option for lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and leggings, as well as for beach fashion garments.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide. In addition to those mentioned above, due to its elasticity and chlorine resistance, it is also suitable for underwear and high-intensity sports garments. On the other hand, its chlorine-resistant finish and UV protection make it an ideal option for water activities and sun exposure.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, dry cleaning can be performed except with trichloroethylene, iron at low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is a process by which the design is printed in a layer of ink that melts directly into the fibers of the fabric. This ensures that the print remains vibrant and resistant, even after multiple washes and sun exposure.
In summary, Nairobi Polyester Lycra is an elastic fabric, chlorine-resistant and with UV protection, printed with an artistic and colorful design. It is ideal for lingerie, sportswear, and beach fashion. Recommended care includes low-temperature washing and avoiding the use of bleaches. The printing technology used is sublimation, which guarantees the durability of the design.
