The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a Lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 150 cm. This fabric has a soft and elastic feel, making it comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by being pictorial, of standard complexity, and with a Kandinsky-inspired style, it is abstract, colorful, and artistic. The predominant shapes in the design are lines and circles, which gives it a geometric look. The main colors of the design are Reddish Orange (40.38%), Dark (34.93%), and Night Black (10.06%).
This printed design could combine very well with plain colors such as white, navy blue, or mint green. These neutral colors would highlight the main colors of the design and create a striking contrast.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that only one side of the fabric has the printed design, while the other side is plain.
Regarding general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, which makes it perfect for sportswear such as bikinis and swimsuits. It can also be used to make accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. Its season is timeless, meaning it can be used all year round. In addition, this fabric is GRS certified and sustainable as it is recycled.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach or dry cleaning. It should also be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, which guarantees a durable and wash-resistant print quality.
