The base fabric is the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, a sweatshirt fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 220 gr/m2. It has a width of 160 cm and is GRS certified, making it sustainable and recycled. Its design is printed using sublimation technology, specifically for polyester.
The printed design is a mix of styles, including pictorial, abstract, colorful, artistic, and drawn. Its predominant shapes are abstract and lines, as well as circles in different colors. The main colors of the design are reddish-orange, dark, and night black.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design is on only one side of the fabric and is not printed on both sides. This feature is important to consider when working with this fabric.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric has a brushed finish, which gives it a soft and warm texture to the touch. Due to its polyester composition, it is a resistant and durable fabric. The stamped design, for its part, presents a standard complexity and a style inspired by Kandinskys art.
The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse. It can be used in fashion for sweatshirts for both women and men. It is also ideal for making toiletry bags, backpacks, and sports tracksuits, for women, men, and children. Its main season of use is during winter and autumn/winter.
As for the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. Ironing is not recommended, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation specific for polyester. This process involves transferring the design using heat and pressure, achieving high quality and durability in the printed pattern on the fabric.
