The Recycled Lycra Fabric - Recycled is a lycra fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its care is simple, as it should not be bleached, can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. Additionally, it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried.
The printed design of this fabric has as its main attributes an artistic style, with influences from Malevich and modern art. It is minimalist and three-color, with abstract shapes. The main colors are cotton white with 63.04%, midnight black with 18.51%, and light orange with 15.65%.
This design combines especially well with solid colors such as white, black, and light orange, which are the main colors of the print. However, it can also be combined with other solid colors that highlight some of the tones present in the design.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this is not a double-sided printed fabric; only the visible side has the print.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it stands out for its softness to the touch and its elasticity. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection with a protection factor of 50+.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned above (hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits), it can also be used in other applications such as fashion or sportswear.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to follow the indications mentioned above, avoiding bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, or tumble drying. In addition, it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is applied to polyester fabrics. This process involves printing the design on paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows the design to penetrate the fabric fibers, providing greater durability and wash resistance.
