The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo 220 gr/m2 is an elastic Lycra type fabric, composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. With a grammage of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for sportswear, lingerie, fashion, and swimwear. Its care includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a cold temperature, and tumble drying should be avoided.
The printed design of the fabric features attributes such as abstract, watercolor, speckles, paint, Kandinsky, circles, and dots. The design is mainly composed of Night Black (58.27%) and Iron Gray (14.2%). This design can be combined with plain colors such as white, light gray, red, or navy blue to highlight the colors of the print.
The fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means that the design is on one side of the fabric and not on both. Its general characteristics include an elastic and soft texture, with a chlorine-resistant finish and high UV protection (UPF 50+). These characteristics make this fabric an excellent choice for garments that require water resistance and sun protection.
The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse, including sportswear for men, women, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras/bralettes, knitwear, tops, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits. Thanks to its elasticity and resistance, this fabric is ideal for garments that require movement and durability.
The care instructions for this fabric include avoiding bleaching, washing at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, ironing at a cold temperature, and avoiding the use of a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design printed on paper through the application of heat and pressure onto the fabric. This process ensures high print quality and durability in the design.
