Satin/Satin fabric, known as Satin - Amsterdam, is a fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name derives from the city of Amsterdam, evoking an image of elegance and sophistication. The fabric presents a bright visual texture and a smooth and delicate touch, which makes it a perfect option for fashion garments and lingerie.
The printed design on this fabric combines several attributes that give it a unique and distinctive appearance. It is an artistic and colorful design, inspired by nature and landscapes, with pictorial, botanical, and drawn styles. The predominant shapes are stars, which adds a touch of magic and fantasy to the design.
The main colors of this design are CadetBlue, Dark Forest Green, and Mint Cream Green. These colors complement each other harmoniously, creating a balanced and vibrant combination. In addition, they can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, gray, or pale pink, among others, to obtain different effects and contrasts.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is visible and present only on one side of the fabric, while the opposite side remains smooth and unprinted.
Regarding the general characteristics, the Satin/Satin fabric offers a bright and luxurious appearance, ideal for high-quality fashion garments and lingerie. Its soft texture provides comfort and delicacy, while its polyester composition guarantees durability and resistance.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, it is widely used in the manufacture of shirts, blouses, kimonos, accessories, jumpsuits, skirts, pajamas, dresses, pants, tops, lingerie, and scarves. Its versatility makes it a suitable option for different styles and seasons.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing, a warm temperature should be used, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process involves the transfer of solid to gas inks by heat and pressure, which guarantees high print quality and exceptional durability. The result is a crisp and vibrant design that resists the passage of time and washes.
