The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Cairo 220 gr/m2 is a lycra fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric offers an elastic and soft texture to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric features attributes such as being pictorial, with a Christmas, artistic, botanical, colorful, drawn, and illustrative style. The shapes that stand out in the print are stars, while nature is represented through landscapes and trees.
The main colors of the design are CadetBlue at 92.65%, Dark Forest Green at 5.71%, and Mint Cream Green at 1.18%. These colors can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, gray, or even more vibrant tones like yellow or red.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, not on the reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design, it is necessary to highlight its elasticity, its softness to the touch, and its chlorine resistance. In addition, thanks to its very high UV protection factor, this fabric offers effective protection against sun rays.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its usefulness in sportswear for men, women, and children stands out, as well as in lingerie, bras, knitwear, tops, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits. It can also be used in general fashion, especially in timeless seasons.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, but cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which allows for vibrant and durable colors in the print. Through this process, the ink is completely absorbed into the fibers of the fabric, ensuring an accurate reproduction of the design.
