The Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon fabric is a knit fabric composed mainly of polyester and elastane, making it elastic and adaptable to the body. With a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is ideal for fashion garments such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters, for both men and women. It can also be used in home textiles, such as dining napkins.
Its printed design combines various styles, such as Christmas, artistic, and botanical, creating a colorful and vibrant composition. It features star shapes evoking the nature of wooded landscapes. The main colors are CadetBlue, Dark Forest Green, and Mint Cream Green. These colors perfectly complement other plain tones such as white, light gray, and beige, which help to highlight the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that it is not a double-sided printed fabric; the design is on only one side of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft texture to the touch, making it comfortable to wear. On the other hand, the printed design is pictorial and of standard complexity, which gives it an artistic and detailed look.
The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse. In addition to mens and womens fashion, such as knitwear, tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters, it can also be used in home textiles, such as dining napkins. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for different sewing projects.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Additionally, it allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. To iron the fabric, a cold temperature should be used, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper using special inks and then transferring the design to the fabric using heat and pressure. This method guarantees high print quality and durability of the design on the fabric.
