Recycled Lycra fabric is a Lycra fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its name indicates that it is a recycled fabric, which means that it has been obtained from recycled materials, making it a sustainable option.
The printed design of this fabric presents a combination of attributes that make it unique and striking. It is pictorial, artistic, colorful, and decorative, with ball and circle shapes that give it dynamism and movement. In addition, it has adornments and presents standard complexity. The design is printed in multiple colors, which makes it a versatile option to combine with different solid colors.
It is important to note that the design is printed on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is present only on one side of the fabric, which gives it a more professional and detailed finish.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight that it has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear and adaptable to the body. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish, which makes it ideal for swimwear. It also has very high UV protection (UPF 50+), which makes it suitable for sun protective clothing.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from those previously indicated, such as scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits, it is also suitable for sportswear and fashion in general, thanks to its elasticity and softness. Regarding care, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This printing process consists of transferring colors and designs to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure. This technology allows obtaining high-quality and durable designs, maintaining the elasticity and softness of the fabric.
