Glasgow cloth fabric is a soft-touch fabric, ideal for making coats, jackets, and blousons for the winter and autumn/winter season. Its composition consists of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it a high grammage of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm.
The printed design is characterized by being artistic, colorful, and bright. It consists of shapes such as balls and bows, with Christmas ornaments and motifs. The main colors of the design are soft ivory white, pepper red, and pumpkin orange. These colors can be combined with other plain colors such as black, dark gray, and bottle green to create contrast and highlight the design.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the design is on only one side of the fabric, which provides a more defined and detailed appearance.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness and texture make it pleasant to the touch. In addition, its composition of polyester, viscose, and elastane gives it good resistance and elasticity.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to being used for making coats, jackets, and blousons, it is also used in the decoration of altars, coasters, and kitchen towels. Its versatility makes it suitable for use in both fashion and home textiles.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, do not dry clean, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry. These cares will help maintain the quality and durability of the fabric over time.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique consists of transferring inks to the fabric by heating and pressure, which guarantees high fixation of the design on the fabric and great sharpness of colors and details. This printing method allows obtaining vibrant and durable designs.
