The base fabric for this printed design is Polyester Lycra, specifically the variant called "Nairobi." This Lycra fabric is composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which provides it with an elastic texture and a chlorine-resistant finish. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is ideal for making garments such as lingerie, swimsuits, tights, and sports leggings, among others.
The printed design of this fabric boasts attributes such as being pictorial, festive, artistic, tricolor, botanical, decorative, and drawn in style. Additionally, it features natural elements like artistic leaves and flowers, which add a floral and serene touch. The main colors of the design are soft ivory white, grapefruit red, and algae green, which give it a colorful and vibrant look. These colors can be combined with other solid tones like black, navy blue, pastel pink, or bright yellow for greater versatility.
It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. This means that the print is not on both sides of the fabric, but only on one. This printing technique allows for great precision in reproducing the details and colors of the design.
Regarding the general characteristics, both of the fabric and the printed design, its elasticity and chlorine resistance stand out. Additionally, the fabric has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sports garments that require sun protection.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, mentioned above, it is worth highlighting that it is perfectly suited for making lingerie, swimwear such as swimsuits and bikinis, leotards, and sports tights, as well as being usable in general fashion. Its elasticity and comfort make it ideal for sports activities or those with high demands for movement.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. Additionally, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying should be avoided.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the design printed on special paper through heat and pressure, achieving a durable fixation of the print on the fabric. This ensures high quality and resistance of the design, even after multiple washes.
