The Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric is a Lycra fabric with a composition of 75% Polyester and 25% Elastane. It has a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by being abstract, with watercolor and brushstroke details. It also features artistic and botanical elements, with vibrant and lively colors.
The main design of the print combines cotton white, hazelnut green, and camouflage green in proportions of 57.06%, 12.51%, and 12.17%, respectively. These colors bring the design to life, creating a striking and modern contrast. In addition to these main colors, the fabric could also combine with solid tones such as black, navy blue, or dusty pink, to create more subtle or contrasting looks.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the print is only on one side of the fabric, while the other side is plain. This feature allows the fabric to be used more versatile, either by displaying the print or the plain side according to the needs of each project.
Regarding the general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric is textured, elastic, and has a chlorine-resistant finish. In addition, it has a very high Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, which makes it an ideal option for swimwear and sportswear, offering greater sun protection.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it is ideal for making lingerie, bodysuits, bikinis, swimsuits, leotards, and sports tights/leggings for women, men, and children. It can also be used in fashion garments such as decorative swimsuits. Its season is timeless, which makes it versatile to be used throughout the year.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, without using bleaches or dry cleaning. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the design printed on paper through heat and pressure, creating a permanent bond between the fabric fibers and the ink. This guarantees high print quality, durability, and wash resistance.
