The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. It has a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is printed with a single-sided patterned design using sublimation technology.
The printed design on this fabric features attributes such as abstract, watercolor, brushstrokes, arts, painting, standard complexity, watercolor styles, artistic, botanical, colorful, decorative, drawn, and illustration, as well as the theme of landscape and trees. The main colors are cotton white (57.06%), hazel green (12.51%), and camouflage green (12.17%).
This printed design symbolically and technically combines the softness of corduroy fabric with the expressiveness and beauty of watercolor technique and brushstrokes. In addition to the main colors, this fabric could be combined with other solid colors such as earth tones, browns, beiges, or more vibrant colors like orange or yellow.
In terms of general characteristics, velvety corduroy fabric is renowned for its soft texture and visual luster. The printed design adds an artistic and decorative touch to the fabric, enhancing its elegant and sophisticated appearance.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it can be used for decorating and upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas. It is also ideal for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, and vests. Additionally, this fabric is perfect for creating accessories such as bags and backpacks.
Regarding the necessary care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, but it does allow dry cleaning. Ironing should be done at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is applied to polyester. This technique allows for sharp and durable printing, ensuring vibrant colors and precise details in the patterned design. It should be noted that the design is printed only on one side of the fabric, keeping the other side in its natural velvety corduroy state.
