The polyester LYCRA fabric - Cairo is an elastic and soft-to-the-touch garment, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which provides great elasticity and comfort when used in body-hugging garments. The Christmas-themed printed design is mainly composed of ecru, bleached almond, worm pink, and chili red colors.
This design is characterized by its Christmas theme, ideal for the winter season. The colors used give it a warm and festive look, perfect for garments and accessories that seek to convey the spirit of Christmas. In addition, the design can be combined with other plain colors such as emerald green, gold, or black to create contrasts and highlight the print even more.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is present only on the right side of the fabric. This allows for greater detail and vibrancy in the design, as it is not diluted by having to pass through the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its elasticity, which makes it perfect for fitted and sports garments. It is also chlorine-resistant and has a very high UV sun protection factor, making it a suitable option for swimwear. In addition, its softness and pleasant feel make it ideal for lingerie and knitwear as well.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility allows it to be used in sportswear for men, women, and children. It is also suitable for the manufacture of bras, bralettes, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits. It can even be used for making accessories such as scrunchies.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and a tumble dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specifically designed for polyester. This process involves applying special ink to transfer paper, which is then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This method guarantees a high-quality print, durable and resistant to washing and use.
