The fabric for this printed design is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2. This Lycra fabric has a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, making it elastic and comfortable to wear. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, Nairobi fabric is resistant and durable.
The printed design features attributes such as being pictorial, simple, Christmas-themed, artistic, colorful, decorative, and bright. Additionally, it includes star shapes and multicolored hues. To combine with other plain colors, one can look for tones present in the design such as red, green, blue, or yellow, to create a harmonious contrast.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means the design is present on only one side of the fabric, not on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, Nairobi fabric has a soft and elastic texture, making it pleasant to the touch and allowing great freedom of movement. Furthermore, it features a chlorine-resistant finish, ensuring the fabric maintains its quality and appearance for a long time. It also has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which guarantees adequate protection against solar rays.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used to make lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. It is also suitable for fashion garments like swimsuits. Its versatility makes it perfect for different seasons.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry-cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and tumble drying should be avoided.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves transferring colors and designs through heat and pressure. This technique allows for high-quality and long-lasting printing, as the colors fuse with the fabric fibers, ensuring a highly resistant and well-finished final product.
