The fabric in question is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm. This is a waterproof fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its attributes include a waterproof finish, a thin and smooth texture to the touch. This fabric is printed with a patterned design that features various characteristics. The design is pictorial, simple, Christmas-themed, and artistic, with a bicolor, bright, decorative, and childlike touch. The predominant shapes in the design are circles and dots, as well as stars. The main colors of the design are cotton white (92.9%), biscuit yellow (2.36%), and beer yellow (2.15%). Additionally, this design can be combined with other solid colors, such as red, green, and blue.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning the design is only on one face of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and the design, the fabric is water-repellent, making it ideal for use in fashion jackets, shower curtains, raincoats, and sports jackets. On the other hand, the printed design is eye-catching and versatile, suitable for a variety of projects and creations.
In terms of care, the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Bleaching and dry cleaning are not recommended. Additionally, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows for high-quality and durable printing on polyester. This technique uses special inks that turn into gas when exposed to heat, penetrating the fabric fibers and creating a vibrant, wash-resistant design.
