The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft and elastic, providing comfort when worn. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which makes it ideal for swimwear.
The printed design of this fabric is Christmas, artistic and colorful in style. It features drawings of Santa hats and motifs. The main colors of the design are dark mint green, MistyRose pink and pepper red. This color combination gives it a cheerful and festive look. In addition to these colors, the design could combine well with solid colors such as white, black and navy blue.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. This means that the design is on only one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
Regarding the general characteristics, both of the fabric and the printed design, we can highlight its softness, elasticity and chlorine resistance. These characteristics make the fabric comfortable to wear and durable over time. In addition, the printed design adds a decorative and festive touch, perfect for swimwear and other creative uses.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above (hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits), this type of fabric is widely used in sportswear and fashion, especially for making swimsuits. Its elasticity and resistance make it ideal for this type of garment.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches and dry cleaning. It is also advisable to iron it at a cold temperature and not to tumble dry it.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation. In this process, special inks are used that become gas when heat is applied, thus impregnating the fiber of the fabric. This printing method allows obtaining high-quality and durable designs, maintaining the softness and elasticity of the fabric.
