The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it great elasticity. Its texture is elastic and soft to the touch, making it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
The printed design of this fabric is truly striking and versatile. It has a Christmas style, but also features abstract and artistic elements. Its main colors are refractory brick red (69.91%), SeaGreen (11.69%), and dark forest green (9.95%). These colors are combined in a tricolor way, forming circles and dots, as well as serpentine shapes.
The printed design is done on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it is only printed on the front side of the fabric. There is no printing on the reverse.
The base fabric and the printed design have general characteristics that make them stand out. The fabric is elastic and soft to the touch, making it perfect for close-fitting garments or those requiring mobility. The printed design is striking and versatile, with a Christmas style but with abstract and artistic elements that give it originality.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, it is commonly found in lingerie garments such as bras or bralettes, as well as in fashion for tops and knitwear. It is also used in the manufacture of bikinis and swimsuits for sports activities or swimwear fashion.
As for care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. To iron it, a cold temperature should be used, and the use of a dryer should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation. This implies that the design is printed using a technique that allows the colors to adhere directly to the fabric fibers, ensuring durable and wash-resistant quality.
