The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic lycra fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features attributes such as pictorial art, standard complexity, and Christmas, abstract, artistic, tricolor, colorful, and decorative styles. It also includes shapes of circles, dots, and streamers, as well as vibrant colors like refractory brick red, SeaGreen green, and dark forest green.
This design is characterized by its creativity and originality, with artistic and abstract elements that add dynamism and energy to any garment. The main colors, such as refractory brick red, SeaGreen green, and dark forest green, combine perfectly with each other and can also be combined with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, and yellow to create modern and striking outfits.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which gives it a unique and exclusive look.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it comfortable to wear and adapt to the body. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used for making lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, as well as for fashion garments such as swimsuits. In addition, being an elastic fabric, it adapts well to different types of garments and styles.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and a tumble dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fabrics. This printing process allows the colors and details of the design to be durably fixed on the fabric, guaranteeing high quality and resistance to washing and use.
