The Raso - Amsterdam fabric is a satin or raso fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It has a shiny visual texture, a smooth and thin feel. Its printed design is characterized by being pictorial, of standard complexity, and with Christmas, artistic, colorful, drawn, and illustrative styles. The predominant shapes are those of a candy cane. The main colors of the design are mint green, light aquamarine, and dark red.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric. To combine with this design, it is recommended to use solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or beige, which highlight the main colors of the design.
In terms of general characteristics, the Raso - Amsterdam fabric is ideal for making fashion garments, for both women and men, such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, skirts, pajamas, dresses, pants, and tops. It is also used for creating accessories such as scarves. It is a versatile fabric that can be used in different seasons, as it is timeless and also suitable for autumn/winter.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It also allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is recommended to use a warm temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester fabrics. This process consists of applying heat and pressure to transfer the design to the fabric permanently, creating a high-quality and durable print.
