The Prada Twill fabric is a twill fabric with a composition of 96% polyester and 4% elastane. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its care includes no bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried. This fabric is ideal for both mens and womens fashion, as it can be used to make shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories such as scarves. It is especially suitable for the summer season.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by being pictorial, with a Christmas, botanical, and decorative style. It features garlands and natural elements such as plants, leaves, and flowers. The main colors of the design are dark forest green at 90.45%, camel brown at 5.56%, and mocha brown at 1.83%.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only, using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one side.
The Prada Twill fabric has general characteristics of a soft and delicate texture to the touch. It is a thin fabric, which makes it ideal for garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, and dresses.
Regarding solid colors that could combine with this fabric, neutral tones such as white, black, or grey can be considered. More intense colors such as red, navy blue, or emerald green could also work.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches. Dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester-based sublimation. Sublimation is a process that allows ink to be transferred through heat and pressure, ensuring that the colors and details of the design are durably fixed in the fabric fibers. This printing method is especially appropriate for fabrics with polyester content, as is the case with the Prada Twill fabric.
