The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a hydrophobic fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its name already indicates its main characteristic: its ability to repel water, which makes it perfect for garments and accessories used in humid or rainy climates. In addition, thanks to its polyester composition, it offers resistance and durability.
The printed design that adorns this fabric presents a combination of attributes that give it a unique aesthetic. It is a pictorial design with a Christmas, artistic, decorative, and illustrative style, in which landscapes with trees predominate. Its main colors are cotton white, mint green, and gulf blue, which create a fresh and natural harmony.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is present only on one side of the fabric, which allows its use in reversible garments or in sewing projects that require an attractive design on only one side.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a waterproof finish and a thin, smooth texture to the touch, which makes it pleasant and comfortable to wear. Its versatility is evident in the various applications and uses for which it is recommended, such as fashion (jackets), home textiles (shower curtains), sportswear (raincoats, jackets), and more. Its use in winter is due to its ability to repel water and keep isolated from the cold.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fabrics. This process allows for high-quality printing that is durable and resistant to washing, ensuring that the design remains intact during use.
In summary, the fine water-repellent fabric - Storm with its pictorial, Christmas-style, artistic, and decorative printed design offers a unique combination of attributes that make it ideal for garments and accessories in humid climates. Its sublimation printing technology guarantees the durability of the design, while its versatile applications and uses expand the possibilities of creation.
