The Velveteen Corduroy fabric - Dublin is a fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, which gives it an ideal combination of comfort, elasticity, and durability. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for making fashion garments, upholstery, and decoration.
The printed design used on this fabric is a combination of artistic and decorative elements, with a Christmas style and illustrated details. The landscape and trees represented in the design add a natural and cozy touch. The main colors of the design are cotton white, mint green, and gulf blue, which blend in a balanced and harmonious way. In addition, this fabric combines very well with other plain colors such as gray, beige, and brown, which highlight the main tones of the design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the pattern and colors are only present on one side of the fabric, allowing greater control and quality in the stamping process.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its texture is soft and visually bright, which gives it a luxurious and elegant appearance. In addition, its weight and composition make it suitable for use in various applications, such as furniture decoration, the making of fashion garments such as pants, jackets, and accessories such as bags and backpacks.
As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, but it does allow dry cleaning. To iron it, a cold temperature should be used and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process involves the transfer of inks through heat and pressure, which guarantees a durable and high-quality print. In addition, this technique allows the colors to adhere deeply and vibrantly to the fabric, further highlighting the printed design.
