The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a type of corduroy fabric composed of 85% POLYESTER, 12% POLYAMIDE, and 3% ELASTANE. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric offers a soft texture and a visual sheen.
The printed design of this fabric features attributes such as its Christmas, artistic, colorful, and decorative style. It presents pictorial motifs from nature, such as the presence of flowers and leaves. The main colors of this design are dark Forest Green with 77.66%, Pepper Red with 9.76%, and Light Orange with 7.78%.
This printed design can be combined with other plain colors, such as neutral tones like white, cream, or gray to highlight the elements of the printed design. It is important to mention that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness to the touch and visual sheen stand out. The printed design adds an artistic and colorful aesthetic to the fabric, with Christmas motifs and decorative elements.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide. In addition to being used for decoration and upholstery of chairs, armchairs, and sofas, it can also be used in fashion for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, coats/vests, bags, and backpacks. In the textile/home sector, it is used for making cushions in various rooms such as the kitchen, bedroom, and living room, as well as for creating decorative baskets.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning, except with dry cleaning that does not use trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This printing technique allows for high quality of detail and precision in the reproduction of printed designs on the fabric. Heat and pressure are applied so that the ink turns into gas and adheres to the fibers of the fabric, ensuring a durable and wash-resistant result.
