The base fabric for this design is Lycra Polyester - Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2. This Lycra fabric has a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, making it elastic and soft to the touch. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it offers strength and durability.
The printed design features a combination of attributes that make it unique. It is characterized by being simple, artistic, two-tone, decorative, and childish, with shapes of stars and animals like reindeer. The main colors of the design are midnight black and deep yellow and biscuit yellow tones.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the design is only on one face of the fabric. This provides versatility when using it in different projects and garments.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric is elastic and soft to the touch, making it comfortable to wear. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a factor of 50+.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it is ideal for sportswear, lingerie such as bras and bralettes, knitwear, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits. It can also be used to create scrunchies. For care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding bleaching. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cold temperature should be used, and it cannot be tumble dried.
