Glasgow woolen cloth is a fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition gives it a soft texture to the touch, making it pleasant on the skin. This fabric features a printed design that combines several attributes that give it a unique and attractive appearance. In this design, abstract elements with a watercolor effect can be appreciated, giving it an artistic and colorful touch. In addition, shapes such as bows, squares, and circles can be found, as well as natural elements such as plants and leaves. The main colors of this design are cotton white, blush pink, and tanned yellow. These colors can be combined with other solid colors such as gray, light green, or navy blue to create harmonious outfits. It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design will only be found on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, it is important to highlight its usefulness in different applications. In addition to being used in the making of coats and jackets, it is also suitable for use in altars, coasters, and kitchen towels. Its composition and weight make it a resistant and durable fabric, ideal for use in winter and autumn/winter.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleaches and dry cleaning. It can be ironed at a warm temperature, but it is not recommended to use a dryer to prevent the fabric from being damaged.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the pigments of the stamped design directly to the fabric through the use of heat and pressure. This technique guarantees high print quality and durability in the design.
