Glasgow cloth is a broadcloth fabric with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by its soft touch. The printed design that adorns this fabric stands out for being pictorial, with a Christmas, abstract, and artistic style. Its serpentine shapes give it a decorative and blurred touch. The main colors of this design are midnight black (84.92%), milk chocolate brown (4.87%), and light brown (3.71%).
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but rather the print is only on one side of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, Glasgow broadcloth is ideal for making coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and jackets for both women and men. In addition, it can also be used in the decoration of altars, dining rooms, and kitchens, either in the form of cloths or coasters. Its season of use is especially suitable for winter and autumn/winter.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to follow the following indications: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid dry cleaning, iron at a warm temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique allows the printed design to be durably integrated into the fibers of the fabric, guaranteeing high quality and resolution in the details.
In summary, Glasgow cloth with a printed design presents a combination of attributes that make it attractive both aesthetically and technically. Its applications and uses are diverse, being especially suitable for outerwear and decoration. For its correct maintenance, the specified care instructions must be followed. The printing technology used guarantees superior quality in the printed design.
