The base fabric is a fine water-repellent fabric known as Storm, with main attributes of being water-repellent, having a weight of 70 gr/m2, and a width of 145 cm. It is composed of 100% polyester, and its care instructions include no bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, no dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and no tumble drying. This fabric is used in various applications such as fashion (for both womens and mens jackets), home textiles (shower curtains), and sportswear like raincoats and jackets/anoraks for women, men, and children. It is an ideal fabric for the winter season.
The printed design on this fabric has several characteristics. It is a pictorial-style design with standard complexity. Its style is festive, artistic, colorful, decorative, illustrative, cartoonish, fun, and childish. The main shapes in the design are stars. In addition to the main colors (night black, light orange, and vanilla cream), this design could combine well with other plain colors such as navy blue, red, and mint green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the design is only visible on one side of the fabric.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a waterproof finish and a thin, smooth texture to the touch. The printed design is symbolic and technical, making it attractive both visually and in its print quality.
The applications and uses of this fabric are broad. In fashion, it can be used for garments such as jackets, coats, and windbreakers. In home textiles, it is ideal for shower curtains, as its water-repellent property ensures good performance. In sportswear, it can be used for raincoats and jackets that provide protection against rain.
Regarding care, bleaching should be avoided, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it is not recommended to tumble dry this fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fabrics. This printing method allows colors to be durably fixed on the fabric, ensuring high print quality and resistance to washing and wear.
