The Elastic Knit Crepe fabric - Riga is a crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is characterized by being elastic and having a grainy texture.
The printed design applied to this fabric presents various attributes that give it a unique and striking style. It is a pictorial design of standard complexity with Christmas elements, which is artistically and brightly decorated. The predominant shapes are stripes, which give it a geometric and tricolor appearance.
The main colors of this design are Pepper Red, which represents 56.13% of the design, followed by Cotton White with 19.64% and Seaweed Green with 17.46%. These colors combine perfectly with each other, creating a harmonious and vibrant contrast. In addition, this fabric can be combined with other solid colors such as black, gray, or even lighter shades of red and green.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the design is only present on one surface of the fabric and is not on the reverse side of the fabric.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, its elastic and grainy texture makes it pleasant to the touch. It is a versatile fabric that adapts perfectly to fashion garments for both women and men, being mainly used in the making of dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is recommended to follow certain care instructions. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding the use of bleaches and ironing at a cold temperature. Likewise, dry cleaning is possible, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique allows the transfer of the design colors precisely and durably to the fabric, thanks to the application of heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality and resistant print that does not fade over time.
