The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is a Lycra fabric composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features attributes such as abstract, watercolor, brushstrokes, painting, standard complexity, Christmas style, artistic, botanical, decorative, drawn, and landscape. The main colors of the design are cotton white, metallic silver gray, and SteelBlue.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it does not have a fabric printed on both sides, but rather the design is imprinted on only one side.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and feel. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor, ensuring UV protection of 50+. These characteristics are ideal for garments such as lingerie, sportswear like swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, and tights. It is also used in swimwear fashion like swimsuits, thanks to its chlorine resistance.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique allows designs to be printed in a durable and resistant way, guaranteeing vibrant colors and a high level of detail.
