Recycled Lycra fabric is a stretchy and soft fabric, featuring an artistic and colorful printed design inspired by natural elements such as a snake in an abstract mosaic. The main colors are multicolored, allowing it to be combined with solid colors such as black, white, green, or yellow. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
General characteristics of the fabric include its softness to the touch, elasticity, and chlorine resistance. Additionally, it has a finish that offers very high UV protection of factor 50+. On the other hand, the printed design has standard complexity and a decorative approach that makes it versatile for various garments and accessories.
Applications and uses of the fabric include swimwear fashion, such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as accessories like hair ties and scrunchies. Its GRS certification makes it a sustainable and eco-friendly option for fashion projects.
Regarding care, it is important to note that the fabric should not be bleached, should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and is not suitable for dry cleaning. It is recommended to iron at a cool temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves applying polyester-based ink directly onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This ensures high color quality and durability in the printed design.
