Glasgow woolen fabric is a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its abstract watercolor printed design, featuring multicolor hues, is artistic, colorful, and decorative. It pairs perfectly with solid colors such as black, white, and navy blue. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
General characteristics of the fabric include a soft texture. The printed design is of standard complexity and features square shapes and checks. It is ideal for making outerwear, jackets, blazers, coasters, and kitchen towels.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can be used for making altars and bomber jackets, as its composition makes it ideal for outerwear. It is a versatile fabric that adapts to different design and garment needs.
For the care of this fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions: avoid bleaching, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. This way, it will remain in optimal conditions for longer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves applying heat and pressure so that the dye turns into gas and penetrates the materials fibers, ensuring vibrant and long-lasting colors in the printed design.
