The Retro Velvet - Paris fabric is a velvet fabric with a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. Its printed design is characterized by a decorative style with wave shapes inspired by the nature of water and the sea. The main colors are multicolored, which combine perfectly with plain colors such as black, navy blue, or white.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which guarantees high quality and definition in the colors and details of the design. The general characteristics of the fabric include its soft touch, its bright visual, and its elasticity, which makes it ideal for fashion garments such as dresses or jackets, as well as for interior decoration such as cushions or curtains.
The applications and uses of the Retro Velvet - Paris fabric are varied, from lingerie and sportswear to upholstery and accessories such as kimonos or scrunchies. Its season of use is mainly in autumn and winter, thanks to its weight of 245 gr/m2 which makes it ideal for warm garments.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, hand washing is recommended, do not bleach, and it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It is not suitable for ironing or tumble drying, which guarantees greater durability of the fabric and the print.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, guaranteeing a durable print resistant to washing. This allows the printed design to maintain its brightness and definition over time, without losing intensity in the colors.
