Regarding general characteristics, velvet fabric stands out for its soft texture and bright appearance, in addition to being elastic. The intricate printed design, with botanical and floral elements, adds elegance and sophistication to any garment or decoration project.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric are lingerie, dresses, blazers, furniture upholstery, sportswear such as bikinis, shirts, jackets, skirts, and pants, as well as accessories like scrunchies and kimonos. It can also be used for home decor, such as cushions, curtains, and table runners.
As for care instructions, it is important to note that velvet fabric should not be bleached, hand washing is recommended, and dry cleaning is allowed, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. It should not be ironed or tumble dried to maintain the quality and shape of the fabric.
