The Terciopelo Retro - Paris fabric is a velvet fabric with a soft texture and a bright visual, ideal for decorative and fashion applications. The printed design contains stripes in shades of white, jay blue, and steelblue, with an artistic and decorative style inspired by the nature of water and the sea. They combine very well with plain colors such as emerald green, dusty pink, and pearl gray. The fabric is printed with the single-sided design by digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric include its softness, shine, and elasticity, which makes it perfect for clothing and decorative elements. On the other hand, the printed design provides an artistic simplicity with drawn shapes that give it an elegant and modern touch.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric are the making of dresses, blazers, upholstery for sofas and chairs, as well as the elaboration of bikinis, shirts, skirts, and sports tops. It is also ideal for creating accessories such as scrunchies and kimonos, as well as for decorative elements such as cushions, curtains, and table runners.
To care for this fabric, it is important to wash it by hand, avoid bleaching, do not iron or tumble dry, and, in case of dry cleaning, use solvents that do not contain trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the design on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure, guaranteeing high print quality and durability in the print.
