The Retro Velvet fabric - Paris is a soft and elastic velvet fabric with a pictorial, botanical, and decorative printed design, mainly in camouflage green, baby blue, and metallic silver-grey tones. This complex and tricolor design evokes nature with plants and leaves.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, meaning the back of the fabric is plain and unprinted. To complement this design, plain colors such as white, black, or neutral tones can be used to highlight the main colors of the print.
The general characteristics of this fabric include its softness to the touch, visual sheen, and elasticity. On the other hand, the printed design stands out for its artistic style and standard complexity.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it can be used for garments such as blazers, skirts, pants, bikinis, shirts, jackets, among others. It is also ideal for decoration in cushions, curtains, upholstery for sofas and chairs, kimonos, scrunchies, among others.
For fabric care, hand washing is recommended, and ironing or tumble drying should be avoided. In addition, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene to maintain the quality of the fabric and print.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves printing the design directly onto the fabric using heat and pressure to transfer the colors durably and wash-resistant.
