The base fabric, Retro Velvet - Paris, is a velvet knit, composed of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, with a weight of 245 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed color is Cornflower Blue, with a CMYK of 42 25 3 0. This color symbolizes serenity, confidence, and harmony. It combines very well with neutral tones such as white, grey, or beige.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side.
General characteristics of the base fabric include a soft texture, a visual sheen, and elasticity. The printed color is bright and vibrant, standing out for its intensity and luminosity.
Among the applications and uses for this fabric are the manufacture of lingerie, dresses, blazers, upholstery for sofas and chairs, sportswear such as bikinis, shirts, jackets, skirts, pants, and tops, as well as accessories like scrunchies and kimonos. It is also ideal for making home textiles, such as cushions, table runners, and curtains.
It is important to note the recommended care for this fabric, such as not using bleach, hand washing, not ironing, not tumble drying, and dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring colorful ink to the fabric through a process of heat and pressure, achieving vibrant and long-lasting colors.
