The base fabric, Retro Velvet - Paris, features a plain color printed in shades of Orange and Light Ochre, with a combination of 6% Cyan, 0% Magenta, 57% Yellow, and 0% Black in its CMYK. This color evokes warmth, creativity, and joy, and pairs perfectly with earthy and neutral tones, as well as more intense colors like moss green or navy blue.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design is applied directly onto the base fabric with precision and detail.
General characteristics of the base fabric include its soft touch, visual sheen, and elasticity, making it ideal for fitted and comfortable garments. The printed color adds a touch of luminosity and modernity to the fabric, subtly yet strikingly drawing attention.
Applications and uses for this fabric include making lingerie, dresses, blazers, furniture upholstery, sportswear, swimwear, kimonos, cushions, curtains, among others. Its versatility and durability make it ideal for a wide variety of creative and functional projects.
Regarding care, hand washing is recommended, and it should not be ironed or tumble dried. Additionally, it is important not to use bleaching products and to opt for dry cleaning in specific cases.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves transferring polyester-based ink to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure. This process ensures high print quality, vibrant colors, and durability in the printed design.
