The base fabric, Retro Velvet - Paris, is a soft velvet fabric with a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, in an amethyst purple color with a CMYK of 53, 46, 2, 0. This secondary color is characterized by its elegance and sophistication, combining perfectly with colors such as gray, white, black, and gold.
The fabric is printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it a shiny and visually attractive finish. Its general characteristics include its softness to the touch, visual sheen, and elasticity, making it ideal for fashion garments, decoration, and accessories.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are the making of clothing such as dresses, blazers, skirts, pants, and tops, as well as for interior decoration such as cushions, curtains, and furniture upholstery. In addition, it can also be used for making lingerie, sportswear, and accessories such as kimonos and scrunchies.
It is important to note some special care instructions for this fabric, such as no bleaching, hand washing, dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, avoiding ironing, and not tumble drying. These precautions ensure the durability and good condition of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink to the fabric through heat, creating a permanent and wash-resistant bond. This process ensures color fixation and print durability over time.
