The base fabric, Retro Velvet - Paris, is a soft and elastic velvet fabric with a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane. The solid printed color is a medium dark gray, with a CMYK of 36 28 28 7, which combines perfectly with neutral tones such as white, black, and beige.
The fabric is printed with this solid color on one side using digital textile printing, giving it a bright and soft finish to the touch. Its general characteristics include a soft texture, a bright visual appearance, and an elasticity that makes it ideal for fitted garments. Additionally, it is perfect for both fashion uses, such as blazers and skirts, and for decoration, such as upholstering sofas and chairs.
Regarding care, it is recommended to hand wash, avoid bleaching, and not iron or tumble dry. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, which ensures adequate durability of the fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring ink through heat to achieve a durable and high-quality print on textiles. Thanks to this technique, the printed color is permanently fixed on the fabric, maintaining its brightness and vibrancy over time.
