The base fabric, Retro Velvet - Paris, is an exquisite velvet fabric composed of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, with a weight of 245 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a vibrant shade of French raspberry red, with a combination of Cyan 15, Magenta 93, Yellow 60, and Black 5 inks in a CMYK profile of 15 93 60 5. This color perfectly complements neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, as well as bolder tones such as violet and orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures high definition and durability of the design. Its characteristics include a soft texture to the touch, an attractive visual sheen, and elasticity that makes it comfortable to wear.
Among the applications of this fabric are the making of haute couture garments such as dresses and blazers, upholstery of furniture such as sofas and chairs, the creation of sportswear such as bikinis and shirts, and the manufacture of accessories such as scrunchies and kimonos.
For the care of this fabric, hand washing is recommended, avoid bleaching and ironing, and dry clean except with trichloroethylene. It should not be tumble dried to preserve the quality and durability of the velvet.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, ensuring high color fidelity, wash resistance, and a high-quality appearance in the printed design.
